Home is not for granted in Uganda |
|
The number of children in Kisozi is 85,000 of which 32,000 are orphans and needy as per the sub-county data collection. The ongoing problems of orphans is due to the prevalence of HIV/AIDS and poverty in the community which poses real threat to the development of the society and the country as a whole.
Children who miss opportunity for improving themselves today will have less opportunities in the future.
These orphans and needy have potentials of becoming very powerful people in the community. However, this can never be so until away of solving the problem is arrived at. This calls for people with compassionate heart to give a helping hand and having a zeal for the suffering of the children and offer support to families having these kind of children.
Our heart's desire is for this project to solicit sponsorship for sending orphans and needy children to school to acquire vocational trainings.
