Hope Alive Uganda is an organization that empowers communities by offering people tools to uplift themselves from poor circumstances. Hope Alive Uganda offers for example women training programs and chances to work within different projects. Hope Alive Uganda runs a tailoring studio in Kisozi where women and girls can follow a one year training course to learn how to make school uniforms, women's clothes and more. After having followed the training program, women and girls are offered the opportunity to remain working with Hope Alive Uganda in the tailoring studio and sell products from there, which enables women and girls to earn their own income. Hope Alive Uganda supports women making crafts by buying and selling the crafts and investing products in projects set up to empower communities. What's more, the cooperation with Cycling out of poverty enables youths and women to earn an income by making use of the bicycles they purchased from Hope Alive Uganda.
