Hope Alive Uganda not only partners with the 1 % club as far as funding the goats, poultry and vegetables projects are concerned, but it also partners with the 1 % club through volunteers carrying out practical tasks for the 1 % club.  Thanks to the efforst of Julie Hooft Graafland and Lieke Meeuwissen and numerous other people that responded to our call on the websites of the 1 % club and mambapoint tv, HAU Netherlands received more than 1000 toys and teddy bears.  Most of the toys are on their way to Uganda and will soon reach our children.  We would like to bring joy in the lives of our most needy children by handing out the toys to them.  However, we are still looking for sponsors to help us ship the part that is still in the Netherlands to Uganda.
