In the Netherlands, final year students in secondary education can choose do research and work on assignments for developmental projects around the world. Secondary schools in the Netherlands can cooperate with the Worldschool in the Netherlands and give students the chance to do research in different fields and contribute for real to communities in third world countries.

The Worldschool’s mission is:

"internationalization of education in primary schools, secondary schools and higher education. We aim at the combination of meaningful connections between schools and the real world, high quality education, students as active 'world citizens' and sustainable development as an important value."

Since 2009, Hope Alive Uganda has worked with the Worldschool and final year students. Materials made by final year students in the Netherlands are used for real in projects run by Hope Alive Uganda.
