Agnes Nakiirya is Hope Alive Uganda's social worker, working in E & E medical centre. Agnes Nakiirya offers people in the community who have Aids counseling at home. Also, a group of men and a group of women will receive counseling at the hiv/aids info centre. Agnes has started identifying families in need, families and individuals who have Aids and live in remote places and who live isolated from the community. With the help of doctor Ibrahim Kalinaki, head of E & E medical centre, and local councils, Hope Alive Uganda's social worker connects with these people, offering them counseling which helps people to break their isolation and enables them to get social support and access to further treatment at E & E medical centre and bigger hospitals in for example Jinja or Kamuli. What's more, social worker Agnes Nakiirya works hand in hand with doctor Ibrahim Kalinaki concerning identifying needy people.
